Jon Hughes
Vice President, Terrorism Underwriter
Jon is responsible for underwriting direct property insurance as well as managing and underwriting terrorism business in both the direct and reinsurance arenas. Jon has over 20 years of experience in the London and Bermuda markets and, prior to joining Montpelier Re, was an Executive Director at Willis Global Markets managing their international terrorism placing team. Previously, Jon was an underwriter for American International Group and ACE Europe dealing with 'Special Risks' business including Kidnap & Ransom, Product Recall and Sabotage & Terrorism.
